Sunapee Harbor is right around the corner from The LODGE – here’s a small list of picks to enjoy while you’re staying here with us.

Sunapee Farmers Market

Held every Saturday through Labor Day in Sunapee Harbor, with vendors that sell only items grown, raised, baked, created, or prepared within 75 miles of Sunapee. Sunapee River Walk

The Harbor offers kayaking, shopping, waterfront dining, picnicking, fishing, free music, narrated boat tours, ice cream and so much more. You can also visit the Sunapee Historical Museum where you will find wonderful pictures and nostalgia of the bygone Steamboat Era and the grand hotels that once graced the shores of Lake Sunapee. A list of businesses and history of Sunapee Harbor is on their website, SunapeeHarborRiverway.com.

The Livery

Performances, concerts, art shows, exhibits, classes and community events are demonstrating the versatility and viability of this wonderful old building as a gathering place for both tourists and townspeople alike. The last surviving commercial structure remaining from Sunapee’s steamboat era, The Livery was built as a horse stable to serve the needs of the adjacent Harbor House Hotel. It’s worth a stop in to see what’s happening. Check their events calendar at TheLivery.org.
