DO YOU ALLOW PETS?
Pets are welcome at King Hill Cottage, Soonipi Casa and Lake Station Lookout. Pets are not allowed at Tiffany Hill Treehouse or The Lodge.
WHAT IS YOUR PET POLICY?
Please familiarize yourself with our policy, as we strive to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Be assured that your friendly companion will experience the same gracious and personalized service as you!
- We ask for a one-time, nonrefundable fee of $50 per pet.
- The maximum weight allowed is a total of 50 pounds.
- The maximum number of pets permitted is two.
- Pets may not be left unattended for long periods of time.
- Pets must be up-to-date on rabies and all other vaccinations.
- Please clean up after your pet.
- Although we welcome your pet, please respect our hospitality. Please do not allow your pet to get on the bed coverings or the furniture.
DO YOU HAVE AN AGE POLICY?
YES: guests must be 21 years or older to reserve our Lodge suites and vacation homes.
WHAT IS YOUR COVID POLICY?
Each Sunapee Stays property features contactless check-in and is professionally cleaned after each guest. Our housekeepers are well versed in the procedures set forth by both the CDC and state to safely clean and disinfect all areas.
ARE ALL OF YOUR PROPERTIES LOCATED IN THE SUNAPEE AREA?

WHAT IS THE MEALS AND ROOMS (RENTALS) TAX?
In New Hampshire, a 9% tax is assessed upon patrons of hotels (or any facility with sleeping accommodations) and restaurants, on rooms and meals costing $.36 or more.
HOW DO WE CHECK IN AND OUT?
All Sunapee Stays properties including the Lodge offer contactless check-in and check-out. There is no traditional front desk however should you need any assistance we are just a call or text away.
WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT?
Times for check-in and check-out varies per property.
We are able to accommodate a limited number of early check-ins and later check-outs for a fee. If you are interested, please email us.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
If your plans change, here’s how we can accommodate new dates or a cancellation. For reservations 1 week and less:
- All reservations are fully refundable (less $50) up to 48 hours after the initial booking date.
- Guest will receive a full refund (less $50) for cancellations at least 14 days in advance of arrival date.
- Guest receives a 50% refund (less $50) for cancellations at least 7 days in advance of arrival date.
- No refunds are given for cancellations within 7 days of arrival date.
For reservations longer than 1 week:
- All reservations are fully refundable (less $50) up to 48 hours after the initial booking date.
- Guest will receive a full refund (less $50) if cancellation occurs at least 30 days in advance of arrival date.
For reservations 2 weeks and longer:
- All reservations are fully refundable (less $50) for up to 48 hours after the initial booking date.
- Guest will receive a full refund (less $50) if cancellation occurs at least 60 days in advance of arrival date.

DO YOU OFFER DAILY HOUSEKEEPING?
Daily housekeeping is not provided. Your room is equipped with housekeeping supplies and you have access to washers and dryers during your stay. If you are staying for multiple days and would like a mid-stay clean, we can arrange this for a fee.
ARE YOU LOCATED ON THE WATER?
The Lodge is not located directly on Lake Sunapee; we are less than a mile to Sunapee Harbor where you can rent boats, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards. The Lodge also has an outdoor pool!
DO YOU HAVE QUIET HOURS?
For the enjoyment of all our guests, The Lodge’s quiet hours must be observed daily between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am daily. We ask that there be no loud TVs, amplified music or gatherings during quiet hours. Guests must respect this policy or they will be asked to leave early.
DO YOU HOST FAMILY REUNIONS AND BUSINESS RETREATS?

DO YOU HOST WEDDINGS?
The Lodge Hotel does not host weddings – however we DO offer lodging for wedding guests. Contact us for more details.
DO YOU OFFER PARKING?
We can accommodate one vehicle per reservation. Parking is FREE when you book directly through our website.
DO YOU HAVE AIR CONDITIONING?
Each suite at the Lodge has dedicated central air-conditioning and heating.
WHICH ITEMS DO YOU SUGGEST WE BRING?
Our kitchenettes are amply stocked with a coffee pot, toaster oven, plates, glassware, cookware and silverware, but we do recommend that you consider bringing the following supplies with you to better enjoy your stay:
- Coffee & Creamer: we offer regular coffee and mini moos but bring any special flavors you prefer
- Tea
- Sugar/sweetener
- Butter
- Condiments: ketchup, hot sauce, etc.
- Sandwich bags
- Aluminum foil or plastic wrap
- Herbs and spices
- Olive and other cooking oils
