Cancellation Policy

If your plans change, here's how we can accommodate new dates or a cancellation.

For reservations 1 week and less:

  • All reservations are fully refundable for up to 48 hours after the initial booking date.
  • Guest will receive a full refund if cancellation occurs at least 14 days in advance of arrival date.
  • Guest receives a 50% refund if cancellation occurs at least 7 days in advance of arrival date.
  • No refunds are given if cancellation occurs within 7 days of arrival date.
 

For reservations longer than 1 week:

  • All reservations are fully refundable for up to 48 hours after the initial booking date.
  • Guest will receive a full refund if cancellation occurs at least 30 days in advance of arrival date.
 

For reservations 2 weeks and longer:

  • All reservations are fully refundable for up to 48 hours after the initial booking date.
  • Guest will receive a full refund if cancellation occurs at least 60 days in advance of arrival date.
 

For all reservations:

  • If there is an active government order prohibiting guest from traveling to New Hampshire, (i.e. current mandated stay-at-home order for primary residence) reservation is eligible for a full refund.
  • If Sunapee Stays is prohibited from hosting guest due to active government order prohibiting or limiting lodging operations, reservation is eligible for a full refund.

There is no better time to stay at one of our unique vacation homes.  Each of our properties are stand-alone homes which means you can travel with your family or friends and limit interactions outside your group by dining and relaxing at your home away from home.  In addition, we offer contactless check in at each of our rentals.

We'll keep things clean for your stay in our properties.

Each property is professionally cleaned after each guest. Our cleaners are well versed in the procedures set forth by the CDC and state guidelines to safely clean, then disinfect all areas. 

All towels, sheets and bed spreads are also professionally cleaned after each guest.  

The following is our enhanced cleaning protocols:

  • Cleaners are well versed in the procedures set forth by the CDC and state guidelines to safely clean, then disinfect.
  • EPA certified disinfecting products will be used at all times.
  • Cleaners will wash hands before and after each cleaning.
  • Cleaners will clean, then disinfect – cleaning is when you use soap or detergent and water to remove dirt, germs and impurities. Disinfecting refers to the use of chemicals like bleach or alcohol to kill germs.
  • Frequently touched surfaces such as light switches, door knobs, remote controls and door handles, etc. will be disinfected.
  • Cleaners will use an EPA-registered disinfectant spray that will destroy viruses, bacteria, mold, and fungi on soft porous items like cloth couches, rugs, pillows, and mattresses.
  • Linens and towels will be washed at the highest heat setting.
  • Cleaners are required to stay home should they begin to exhibit COVID-19 symptoms.
  • Cleaning supplies, EPA certified disinfectant and hand sanitizer will be available.
