- Winslow State Park is located on the northwest slope of Mt. Kearsarge. It has amazing views, a picnic area, and a one-mile hike to the summit of Mt. Kearsarge.
- Wadleigh State Park has a beach where you can swim in Kezar Lake, a bathhouse, picnicking, and playing fields.
- John Hay National Wildlife Refuge has many hiking trails and is home to the beautiful gardens known as “The Fells.”
